TDY Housing

TDY Housing provides exceptional temporary housing for active-duty and reserve component military personnel, government employees and cost-reimbursable contractors.  We offer fully furnished and equipped, all-inclusive lodging for those on temporary duty or mobilization.

TDY Housing Amenities

With TDY Housing you will discover handsomely furnished single-family homes and townhouses.  You’ll enjoy better amenities in a more comfortable and spacious environment than a hotel or an apartment-all within the per diem rate.  Your home-away-from-home will include our standard services including:

• High-speed, wireless Internet throughout the house
• Furnished living room with TV, DVD player, and cable TV service
• Fully equipped kitchen
• BBQ grill & patio set
• Bedroom and bath complete with linens and accessories
• In-house or on-site laundry facilities

TDY Housing Premium Services

TDY Housing also offers Premium Service.  We pride ourselves on meeting the special needs of our guests.  If there is anything you need, just ask.  Below is just a partial list of the items we can provide through our Premium Services:

• Printer/Scanner/Fax All-In-One
• Video game system-PS2, Xbox, etc.
• Premium Movie & Sports Channels
• Maid and/or Laundry Service
• Asian or Kosher Cookware

Roommates

If two or more colleagues or classmates on TDY would like to share a home, we offer luxurious homes with no charge for weekly housekeeping services.  In addition, each bedroom includes a queen-size bed, desk, bookcase, TV, DVD player, and telephone.

Family Members

As veterans ourselves, we understand the hardships of repeated long-term separations from your loved ones.  With our 3 and 4-bedroom homes, you can bring your family with you.  We offer fun stuff like toys, board games, and bikes.  For baby there is a high chair, crib and changing table. 

Pets

Bring your pets, as well.  We have accomodations for all sizes.  We offer homes in town with fenced-in yards and homes in the country with acres to run on.

Concierge Services

Moving to a new area, even temporarily, can be stressful.  You have dozens of questions, but don’t know who to ask.  At TDY Housing, you have "eyes on the ground," so ask us.  Here are just a few of the ways we can help:

• Filing travel vouchers
• Information on the town and the post
• Welcome packet and a unit sponsor
• Information on your course of study
• Transportation to and from the airport
• Rental car or purchase
• School or day-care registration assistance
• Child or pet sitting services

Payment And Terms

Our standard fees are fully reimbursable by the government.  Lease terms are based on your TDY orders.  If your plans change due to the government, there is no charge.  We accept the government travel card, credit cards, or personal checks for all charges.

In appreciation of their service to our country, TDY Housing will ensure service members returning from deployment can afford to bring their families with them on TDY.  As another courtesy, we will suspend rent charges for service to members on emergency leave or during block-leave periods for up to 10% of your stay.
